Payment & Privacy

Credit card
Curious Joe handles secure card payments in collaboration with Stripe and PayPal. You can pay with your credit card or with your PayPal account. 

Card payment is a safe method of payment for you as a customer. The selling company (Curious Joe) will never get any details of your card or account information. This information is securely transferred to an encrypted link from you through Stripe or PayPal to your bank.


If you return an item, it will be credited back to your bank or credit card account.

PayPal
If you have a PayPal account you can login and pay with that as well.

When at the checkout, you will be transferred to PayPal to make your payment.

Personal information

By placing an order you accept that we store the information we need to complete the handling of your order, and to give you the best service possible. 

 

We store your name, address, email address and the information you provide us with. We only use this information enable us to provide the service you asked for.

 

We use your email address to send you a confirmation of your order, as well as information on when your order has shipped, and a follow-up email. We may occasionally use it to send you information about news and offers.


Please rest assured that we will never give any of your personal information to any third party. We are happy to send you all the information that we have about you and, if you feel that it is not relevant, you can ask us to delete it. Please feel free to contact us about this; we’re always happy to help.

Delivery

Your order will normally be sent within 1-3 business days.


Delivery time depends on where you live. In the table below, you can get an estimate of how many business days it might take for your order to arrive to your country. Please note that the numbers are for major cities in each country, and that these are just estimated delivery times.  

Shipping costs

The shipping cost will depend on the weight of your order, and starts from €5.

Returning unwanted goods

ForEU customers only

In the EU, you have the right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This does not apply to custom-made goods. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the date on which you receive your order. 

 

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order via info@curiousjoe.se. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send us an email concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. What we need is: your intent (to return goods), your order number, the product or products concerned, the date you placed the order, the date you received it, and your name and address.

 

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse allpayments received from you, excluding the costof delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
 

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day we receive all of the relevant goods back from you.

 

We will reimburse you using the same method of payment as you used for the initial purchase transaction.

 

Return of goods

You must send back the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this purchas eto us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

 

Return cost

The buyer will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods (e.g. postage).

Customers outside EU

Please note that any fees related to importing goods from EU, like taxes and customs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Within the EU, there are no fees related to taxes or customs.
